BioGals-Empowering Women of Color to Create Sustainable Solutions



I lead a collaborative multidisciplinary research team, BioGals working with people in a small rural village–Sittee River, Belize. The team consist of dedicated volunteers throughout the country. Currently, our research endeavors are to enhance water quality monitoring and sustainable waste management of organics. We pride ourselves on seeking to truly understanding community needs by building trusting relationships before introducing technological solutions.
